Each day we will have a fun new video for you to watch with activities to do.
Aimed at children between 8-11, each day should provide up to an hour of fun science based learning.
At the end of the week take a pictures of your experiment or draw a picture inspired by the videos you’ve watched and send it to us at cef@soton.ac.uk for your chance to have your picture features on our website and win a prize!
10th August sees the start of CEF Science week, a week aimed at getting children into science with fun Homebase activities for children aged between 8 and 11.
Topics include sensors, batteries and luminescence with fun experiments using everyday items.
Each video starts with a cartoon explaining the science and then a fun experiment, at the end of the week you can send in your pictures and photos for the chance to be featured on the CEF website and win a prize.
